In the deep ancient-forests where the mountain priests have been practicing austerities from 1500 years ago.
Here is Mt.Haguro (in Dewa-Sanzan) located in Yamagata prefecture.
Among the great old ceder-trees, the sacred tower is built for the sky to be steady.
Five-storeys mean five-elements, five-cakras in our bodies ,
five-stages of austerities, five-tathagatas ...etc..
(Built in the Muromachi period.)
